Admission Requirements & Procedures

Individuals wishing to enter the school must fulfill the following requirements to be considered for acceptance:

Be at least 16 years of age and have proof of former education, either with a copy of High school diploma, transcript, or GED Certificate.
Have an interview with one of the staff at the school. This interview is for the applicant to ask questions, to view the facilities, and to fill out the application for admission. The application can be filled out at either school campus or online. If there is a waiting list for enrollment, the applicant will be placed on that list at the time of the interview and will be notified when an enrollment date has been selected for him/her. Transfer Students must complete 65% of the program at WSBS. The requirement is a minimum of 993 hours at Winston Salem Barber School.
