Financial Aid

Winston Salem Barber School is certified by the United States Department of Education to administer financial aid to those that qualify. A Financial Aid Administrator is available to assist applicants wishing to apply for Financial Aid.

Currently, the Winston Salem Barber School participates in the Federal Pell Grant program and the Title IV Federal Loan Program. The Federal Pell Grant program is a need-based, federal financial aid program offered to eligible students.  Our school is accepted by the Veterans Administration for training under the GI Bill, the State Vocational Rehabilitation Department, and various other government agencies concerned with public education

How to Apply for Aid

Applicants interested in applying for financial aid need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form by logging in at fafsa.gov to apply online or filling it out in the myStudentAid mobile app. In order for the Winston Salem Barber School financial aid department to receive your FAFSA information, you will need to enter our school code: 030095.

The Federal Financial Aid award year runs from July-June. Our program enrolls new students every month. Most likely, you will need to complete the FAFSA for 2 award years to determine your full eligibility for financial aid during our program duration.
